Hello John Muir Families,
On Tuesday, January 15 at 6:30 PM, there will be a very important meeting at John Muir School regarding budget cuts that you don't want to miss.
These cuts affect our children's education and you will want to be there to hear the Chief Business Officer present information as well as hear from two board members and the superintendent. Proposition 30 passed BUT our district faces over a million dollar deficit. Please plan on being at this meeting.
There will be free childcare for school age kids.
Other important events this week are happening this Friday, January 18.
1. Third 3rd annual Blood Drive. It will be at Lunardi’s Market from 11 – 3. Register online for your appointment at www.bloodheroes.com. Click Donate Blood, code SanBrunoBD Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. If you have questions, please contact Jill Engel.
2. 49ers Day! Wear your red and gold!
3. Walk to School Day! All children must walk with an adult. All three routes start at 7:55. The routes are Crestmoor/Princeton, Bennington/Madison, and Crestmoor/London Ct. Parents, please stay after Round Up for the PTA summary meeting.
