BART Delays Continue As Crews Correct Electrical Problems

The problems are taking place near the SFO station, and causing delays of 15 minutes.

An electrical problem along the BART tracks near the SFO station is continuing to cause system-wide delays Thursday morning, according to BART.

The issue was first reported around 6 a.m., BART spokeswoman Luna Salaver said.

Crews will troubleshoot the problem after the morning commute, Salaver said. As of 9 a.m., delays were about 15 minutes, she said.

All trains traveling through San Francisco in both directions are running at reduced speeds. There is no estimated time for when the issue will be resolved, Salaver said.
