Travelers heading in and out of Bay Area airports as a rainstorm passes through the region were dealing with canceled and delayed flights Monday.

There were 108 arriving and departing flights canceled at San Francisco International as of late Monday afternoon, according to airport duty manager Chris Davison.

Many flights heading to and from airports west of Denver were experiencing delays between one and two hours, Davison said.

There were also some delays for East Coast flights, she said.

At Oakland International Airport there were no cancellations Monday afternoon, but many flights were delayed up to an hour, an airport operations employee said.
