Police Arrest Man For Annoying 12-Year-Old Girl

Juan Manuel Mandoza-Bermudez, 34, tried to get a 12-year-old girl and her friend to go to his vehicle.

On Thursday at 7:30 a.m., police arrested a man for a child annoyance incident that occurred Monday.

On Monday at 7:15 a.m., a 12-year-old girl reported that a man, later identified as San Lorenzo resident Juan Manuel Mendoza-Bermudez, 34, tried to get her and her friend to go to his vehicle.

The two girls were waiting at a bus stop at 3rd Ave. and San Bruno Ave, reported San Bruno Police Lietenant Geoff Caldwell. The girls didn’t approach the subject and he drove away.

Officers investigated the incident using video surveillance, and subsequently stopped a four-door Sedan that matched the description provided by the victims.

Mendoza-Bermudez was then arrested for an outstanding warrant on charges of annoying children.

San Bruno Police Detectives are continuing with the investigation, and encouraging anyone with information regarding the crime to contact them at (650) 616-7100.

Great job. Get these kind of guys off the street. Glad the girls took action and are safe.
