Things To Know: National Night Out San Bruno Update
National Night Out Update:
Residents in and around Grundy Park in San Bruno answered the invitation from Kris Gonzales and met in Grundy Park to meet their neighbors and new interested citizens who were not present last year.
Chris reports:
Hello Neighbors, I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday night August 6th 2013 (1st Tuesday in August). We had a great turnout and I was grateful to meet so many neighbors. I was happy that San Bruno Chief of Police Neil Telford and his officers were able to stay and answer questions for everyone.
It was also great to have the San Bruno Fire Department stop by. The kids loved to take pictures with the fire truck.
Attached are three pictures.
Finally, I would like to thank San Bruno City Councilman Rico Medina for his continued support of our event.
I will be working with the San Bruno Police department to form "Neighborhood Watch" groups by street. We are in the beginning stages so I will have to report back to you when I get more information.
Remember that if you see something that doesn't look right, CALL THE POLICE - non-Emergency 616-7100 - Life & Death call 911.
They would rather have you call them than have a crime committed and not receive a call.
I look forward to bringing the neighbors of this great neighborhood together to keep our homes and families safe from crime!
Thanks again!Kris Gonzales
