Things To Know: Senior Scam Prevention Event

Community: Senator Yee, CA CSLB to Host a Senior Scam Prevention Event TOMORROW 11/22 at San Mateo Senior Center

State Senator Leland Yee, D-San Francisco/ San Mateo, has partnered with the Contractors State License Board and the San Mateo Senior Center to host a Senior Scam Stoppers event:

2 p.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22
at the San Mateo Senior Center,
2645 Alameda de las Pulgas in San Mateo.

The event will provide information to better prepare seniors against a wide range of scams. Seniors and their families will receive information on how to protect themselves from various types of fraud such as financial, identity theft, telephone scams, lotteries, mail and more.

The seminar is free. RSVP by calling his San Mateo district office at 340-8840. For more information visit sd08.senate.ca.gov.
