Allen Elementary School Receives $1,000 Check

Wells Fargo presented 43 $1,000 checks to school principals and representatives at a breakfast event held in Foster City on Wednesday, including a $1,000 gift to Allen Elementary School in San Bruno.

Update: BART Computers Fixed, Service Resuming

The Friday commute was extra busy as BART experienced computer problems.

San Francisco International Airport officials released preliminary findings from a self-review of the airport's performance in July's Asiana Airlines crash, citing the need for improvement in coordinating emergency responses and providing adequate customer service.

CPUC Told to Focus on Safety

Two leaders of the California Public Utilities Commission assured legislators at a hearing in San Francisco Monday that the agency is doing its best to instill a systemic commitment to safety  throughout its operations.
