Introducing the 2011 Posy Parade Princess Court

This year's princess court includes a girl who loves reading and swimming, a girly girl, a chatterbox and a pre-schooler from Belle Air School.

Every princess has her court. So it is with the Posy Parade as well. This year, four girls who will be part of the princess court will join 7-year-old , who was selected as the Posy Parade princess. Here is a little more information about each girl in the princess court.

Payton Agius, 7 

Payton, a student at St. Robert’s Catholic School, has many interests as a 7-year-old. Among them are reading, swimming and playing with her Barbies. She also enjoys hanging out with family and friends, walking her dog, riding her bike and singing and dancing. Her parents say she is also a great helper when it comes to her younger sister. Payton is really excited about being in the parade because this will be her first and this was her last year eligible to be in the princess court.

Paige Valles, 7 

Paige is a second grader at and describes herself as a real girly girl. Her interests are purses, dressing up and shopping. So being in the Posy Parade princess court is right up her alley. She's also very much into gymnastics, and she participated on a team at Gymtowne Gymnastics for more than year before having to stop because it was interfering with school. However, Paige still does gymnastics on the recreational level. When Paige found out she had been selected to be a part of the court, her parents said, she was ecstatic. She's been practicing her wave ever since.

Sierra Klingler, 5 

Sierra likes to fish with her dad, go swimming, dance and play soccer. When she gets older, she said she wants to learn how to kick the ball as far as her older sisters. Her parents say she is shy to newcomers but “Ms. Chatterbox” when she’s around people close to her. “She would sing all day long if she could,” her parents said. She, too, has been practicing her princess wave ever since she learned she was going to be in the parade.

Paolo Delgado, 4 

Paola is in pre-school at , and being in the princess court is really exciting for her and her family, her parents said.
