Kids Raid City Park for Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The annual event was organized by the city's recreation department and Lions Club.

was filled with families today who all gathered for San Bruno's annual Easter egg hunt. The sounds of laughter were prominent at the event as children were scattered around while parents and recreation officials got the Easter egg hunt ready.

Hundreds gathered around the makeshift rope fences that were laid out to separate the different age groups of children for the egg hunt. There were three age groups: 4 and under, 5-8 and 8 and up. All three fields in the park were full of colorful bright Easter eggs filled with candy and, for those lucky kids, a note that granted the owner an even better prize from the prize counter: Easter Bunny plush toys or even a whole Easter egg basket.

Those who were not climbing over the Easter egg hunt fences or chasing after their playful children were either sitting down and enjoying some pancakes provided courtesy of the San Bruno Lions Club.
