Latin Guitarist a Mainstay at Don Pico's

San Bruno Patch stopped by Don Pico's to check out the live music performed by local musician Rolando Morales.

For this week's Viewfinder, San Bruno Patch stopped by , a San Bruno business that has been running since 1975 under the ownership of the Mejia family. Don Pico's prides itself on featuring fresh, organic and locally grown produce, in addition to organic beef. The restaurant also features live music.

During our visit, Patch was able to hear guitarist Rolando Morales performing Latin, jazz, flamenco and salsa music on solo guitar and voice. Morales, originally born in East L.A., has performed throughout Europe, Hawaii and across the mainland United States. Since moving to San Francisco to attend law school, Morales has continued to share his music with audiences throughout the Bay Area, performing at local venues along with recording several CDs. His latest album entitled, "¿Y Qué?" has been played by radio stations from Alaska to New York, and the CD can be purchased at any of his gigs. Morales plays frequently at Don Pico's on Wednesdays.
