New Art Exhibit to Open at Library

The program was started to encourage artistic expression and foster a greater appreciation for art in the community.

The city's Culture and Arts Commission is launching its first community art exhibit next week.

A project that has been months in the making, the program was started to encourage artistic expression and foster a greater appreciation for art in the community.

The first exhibit will be opening on Monday and feature artists Dru Chipman and Trudy Calandra, both Bay Area painters.

This exhibit and those that follow will run for four months. All of the artwork can be viewed at the library during regular hours.
