San Bruno Weekend Planner: Aug. 9-11

The Houserockers will perform a program of rock, rhythm and blues at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at San Bruno City Park Rotary Pavilion, 251 City Park Way. The San Bruno Chamber of Commerce will be selling wine at the event. Admission is free.  For details, call 650-616-7180.

SAN BRUNO FARMERS MARKET

Fresh seasonal vegetables, eggs, and other foods can be found at the San Bruno Farmers Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday on San Mateo Avenue between Jenevein and Sylvan avenues. Admission is free. For details call 650-588-0180 or visit the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce website.

Look for a wide selection of locally-grown fresh seasonal vegetables, eggs, baked goods and other foods at the South San Francisco Farmers Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Orange Memorial Park, on Orange Avenue at Tennis Drive. Admission is free.

 

BURLINGAME ARTZFEST

Downtown Burlingame is the place to be this weekend to celebrate the arts with music, vendors, food booths and family activities. The outdoor event takes place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10-11 along Howard Avenue in downtown Burlingame. Admission is free. For details, visit the ArtzFest website.

 

THE FRESH MARKET

Get exercise and fresh air while shopping outdoors for locally-grown veggies, fruits, flowers and more from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at The Fresh Market along Burlingame Avenue at Park Road, Burlingame. Admission is free.
