Pedestrian Killed on Caltrain Tracks in San Bruno

Caltrain services are disrupted system wide after a pedestrian was struck by a train in San Bruno this morning, according to Caltrain officials and San Bruno police. 

At 5:20 a.m. the southbound train #102 struck and killed a person on the tracks between Linden and Scott Streets in San Bruno about a mile north of the San Bruno station.

At 7:00 a.m. southbound tracks were reopened and trains are traveling through the area at 30 mph.

Southbound riders should expect continued delays and service disruptions through the morning commute as the incident is still being investigated.
