49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh Makes Special Visit at Store's Grand Opening
With the opening of a new store, St. Vincent de Paul now has five locations throughout San Mateo County.
Despite the NFL lockout ending today, setting the football season into high gear, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh made a special appearance at the grand opening of the new St. Vincent de Paul store on El Camino Real.
Harbaugh is a good friend of John Denniston, St. Vincent de Paul's stores committee chairman, and is a strong supporter of the organization.
The store, at 1600 El Camino Real, is the society's fifth location in San Mateo County. Proceeds from sales at the stores go to support the homeless and people in need.
