Back-to-School Deals and One Last Free Concert in the Park

As the summer winds down, we uncover deals to make the transition a little easier.

Our deals for this week feature the last Concert in the Park of the summer, free furry reading assistants for kids, great deals to keep you smelling fresh through the late summer heat, steep discounts on back-to-school clothes for tween girls and half off dance lessons for the whole family.

Deal: Final free of the summer, featuring rock and soul band Groove Kings.

Good through: 6 p.m. this Friday only.

Deal: Free “Paws for Tales” pet-assisted reading therapy for kids learning reading skills. Children can read aloud to trained therapy dogs to improve their confidence. Registration required.

Good through: Session takes place at 6 p.m. today.

Deal: Buy three products in the new “Paris Amour” line and get two more of equal or lesser value for free.

Good through: Sale expires Wednesday, Aug. 31.
