Best of San Bruno Patch: Italian Restaurants

Vote for your favorite Italian restaurant in San Bruno.

San Bruno Patch wants you to vote for your favorite Italian restaurant that captures the essence of an authentic Italian meal, just like Nonna used to make.

Who cooks the best al dente spaghetti? Who uses the freshest mozzarella on pizza? We want you to tell us.

Our Best of Patch contest this week kicks off with marinara on our mind and some even on our shirts.

Here are some of our favorite places in San Bruno, but if we have left one off the list, please let us know in the comments and we will add it.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey.

Mr, Kiely, When they cut school days, isn't the savings in that the employees who directly work withRead More and for the children are deprived of that many days of pay??? Do the principals also lose 5 days pay? Does Hutt lose 5 days pay? Do the board members lose 5 days worth of their stipend. In other words, is the bad tasting medicine swallowed by everyone in the school district in a sincere effort to cure the ills of this school district Or is it just the teachers and the classified workers who are called upon to attempt a restoral of good health, the direct result of poor management and less than admirable leadership that has brought about ths crisis??

Mr, Kiely, Somewhere I heard that they were considering stopping contracting out PE at a largeRead More savings. Was that discussed last week? I was not abe to stay the entire evening. I question why they would have contracted for PE at the elementary level. Isn't that what recess and the balance of lunch time was for? Physical activity??? Thank you in advance for your always knowledgeable answer to my questions.

Wasn't Mr. Hanley a former teacher ??? Experience doesn't seem to be the necessary qualification IRead More don't recall Ms. Blanco as having had any 'professional' experience except for being the mother of quite a few children and she has proven herself to have an abundance of common sense. Perhaps common sense should be the qualification. Maybe we need someone fresh like she was, not anyone who has ever fed off the city troughs in whatever capacity drifting from post to post. An aside: Do the board members receive any sort of 'retirement' by serving in what was one a public service job, no cash compensation of any sort involved??? Will Skip receive any sort of 'retirement' compensation?? Just curious.I believe if you can find anyone who is willing to serve sans a stipend, health benefits, retirement if any is involved, then you will have a person who belleves in quality education and is willing to walk the walk. Anyone, anyone ?????
