Children's Play Center, Supercuts and Dental Office Among New Businesses

Wondering what new businesses are planting their roots in San Bruno? Here's a roundup of new shops that have opened up over the last six months.

If you're looking for a place to take your toddler to play while also giving yourself a little break, then the folks at Diddalidoo are there to cater to your needs. Owners Michael and Bernice Soon decided to open the indoor play area facility after finding a lack of comfortable, clean places to take their infant son. They also noticed that many of the indoor play centers in the area cater to older children. Diddalidoo is their solution, and it features three play areas, a cafe and a baby boutique. The business also has Wi-Fi for those parents who need to jump online.

Fremont Smile has expanded from its clinic in the East Bay and added a new location on Jenevein Avenue. The clinic's services include dental care, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, and they cater to Spanish-speaking residents.

and also are now open on San Mateo Avenue, filling in some of the vacant storefronts downtown.

Over at the Crossing, and European Wax Center are the new stores on the block. With Jack's next door and a Patelco Credit Union on its way, the retail area across from the apartments is almost filled up. Scottrade, which has been open for a year, also has an office in the complex.
