San Bruno Design Company Hires New CEO

With a new chief executive, San Bruno-based Aditazz is looking to transform the healthcare construction industry, the company said.

San Bruno-based Aditazz, a design firm that focuses on next-generation healthcare facilities, has hired a new CEO, the company announced today.

The company has picked Dan Pittard, a veteran executive, to lead Aditazz as it looks to scale up the business and position itself as a leader in the healthcare construction industry.

Earlier this year, Aditazz by designing an innovative concept for a small hospital design that provides a patient-centered healing environment, doesn't waste energy and uses new technology to improve the quality of healthcare and reduce costs.

With Pittard now at the helm, the company said it will now be ready to transform the industry.

"Dan has the right combination of executional expertise and breadth of experience to help Aditazz accelerate growth and get to the next level," Deepak Aatresh, co-founder of Aditazz, said in a statement. "We're thrilled to have him on board."

Previously, Pittard has been the CEO of Rubio's, a senior vice president for Gateway Computers, a group vice president at Amoco Corp. and a senior vice president at PepsiCo. Most recently, he was the managing partner at ideaEDGE Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Diego.
