I'm guessing the economy, the weather and online competition finally did Renato in. He was a Swiss guy -- skiing was in his blood. Or maybe he just retired -- the store had been there quite a while, and he took it over about 20 years ago.

The store closed without any notice back in March. Nobody knows why, though. Like Heidi said, maybe it was the economy or Renato retired. Maybe he lost the lease. the way property prices are, it wouldn't surprise me. The website stopped working in March as well.
