The Denise Granville State Farm branch gathered the community together on Saturday in City Park to debut a new program the company initiated to help teens as they become new drivers.
The event was dubbed, "Celebrate My Drive," and teens and their parents were invited to come to get resources to stay safe on the road.
State Farm account manager Valerie Mazzola said the goal of the event was to focus on how behavior can be changed to improve teen driver safety.
Classic cars, Capuchino High cheerleaders, games and a food truck were all part of the day's activities.
Nationwide, State Farm agents held similar events on Saturday to rally communities to celebrate new drivers as they get ready to get behind the wheel.
