Blood Drives Make Stops in San Bruno On Way to Saving Lives Across Peninsula
Bay Area residents gave back last week by donating blood at events held in the city.
Showing off their community spirit for the Fourth of July, a number of area residents last week did their part to help save lives by donating blood in San Bruno.
The Blood Centers of the Pacific in tandem with held a blood drive at Bayhill Shopping Center. Volunteers donated their blood and, in return, Pasta Pomodoro gave them a coupon for $5 off the next time they dine at the restaurant. The Bloodmobile was also at The Shops at Tanforan the day before for another blood drive.
Blood drives are continuing almost daily across the Peninsula, and representatives from the Blood Centers of the Pacific say it's not too late to become a donor and help someone in need.
