Featured deals offer free books and flea markets.
This week, we’ve featured freebies and low-cost fun for the whole family, including free resume writing tips, informational tours through a historic local park, book giveaways for kids, a flea market the whole brood can enjoy and a pasta dinner to benefit a young survivor.
Deal: Free career webinar focusing on resume writing techniques and strategies. Open to all, at San Bruno City Hall, Room 115.

Deal: Enjoy a to benefit 6-year old Cole Baker, who has Stage 4 cancer. Adult dinners are $10 a plate, children are $5 and families of up to four pay $25. All proceeds help to pay Cole’s hospital bills.

Deal: Free children’s book giveaway at San Bruno City Park Rotary Pavillion, sponsored by the library. Free activities, performers and music will accompany the giveaway, which is part of the school district’s Day of the Child event.

Deal: $3 per person or $5 per family for admission to flea market featuring housewares, items for children and families, facepainters and other family activities, at the Burlingame Rec Center gymnasium, open to all.
