A memorial has been set up outside of Don Pico's to mourn the loss of the restaurant's owner, who on Interstate 280.
All throughout the day, friends and patrons stopped by the restaurant to pay their respects to the family and to reflect on all the good memories Isaac Mejia brought to them.
Mejia, 51, was heading north on I-280 near the interstate Highway 380 connector in San Bruno late Saturday night when his car slammed into a concrete wall on the freeway.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Funeral arrangements are now being planned.
