Want Your Photos Featured on Our Facebook Page?

San Bruno Patch is looking for the best San Bruno images that can be featured as the cover photo on the site's Facebook page.

When Facebook unveiled its Timeline feature in March, it radically changed the way people could see themselves on the site.

The emphasis was supposed to be on big photos and telling a story. And for those who have added the feature, you already know that the change makes Facebook a lot more fun.

So San Bruno Patch made the switch (actually it was mandatory), and the biggest change you've probably noticed is the cover photo.

I took some suggestions from the site's Facebook friends about what should be the cover photo for our page and, by consensus, I chose to make an image of the El Camino Real bell the cover photo. I stylized the image with some filters from my iPad app, PhotoForge2, to make our page even more unique.

Now I'd like to feature your images of San Bruno as cover photos for our Facebook page. If you've taken a photo that you think represents what San Bruno is all about, upload it by clicking the "Upload Photos & Video" button in this post. You can also post the image in our Neighborhood Gallery. The photo has to be cropped with the following dimensions: 850px wide by 315px high. So think big!

Make sure to include your name and description of the image. If you want, you can also email me your Facebook profile picture, and I'll add that when posting your image as the cover photo. My email is martin@patch.com.

I'll feature different images as the cover photo as they come in, so upload away!
