Monday, March 5

: A judge sentenced a 58-year-old man to a year in jail for a fatal hit-and-run accident last year near Pacifica.

Tuesday, March 6

: Several stores have recently closed at the Bayhill Shopping Center and The Shops at Tanforan. Some of those stores are expected to be replaced with new businesses.

Wednesday, March 7

: Vivian Arciniega-Aanenson, a music teacher at Parkside Intermediate, is known for her unique ability to turn beginning music students into professional players. She's also working on her doctorate in educational leadership.

Thursday, March 8

: A YouTube video campaign to catch a Ugandan warlord reached critical mass and inspired a San Bruno high school club to get involved in spreading the awareness about the fight to stop him.

Friday, March 9

: Readers voted Sweet Connections the best place in San Bruno to have a kids' birthday party.

: Police said they were searching for 27-year-old Joseph McHenry, who went missing earlier in the week after reportedly going rock climbing and camping overnight at a secluded beach in Pacifica and never returning home.
