So here's what's open and closed on this Memorial Day:
All city offices—including the , and —will be closed in observance of the federal holiday.
All public schools in the are closed.
Major banks are closed as well.
Caltrain and SamTrans will both be running on Sunday schedules, with Caltrain operating 28 trains between San Francisco and San Jose and four weekend Baby Bullets. Just like Caltrain, BART will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
There will also be no regular mail service today. However, garbage collection will remain on a regular schedule and street parking restrictions will remain the same.

The city's 16 neighborhood parks are open, and is open as well.
The doors to The Shops at Tanforan will be open.
