What's Open, Closed on President's Day

City government offices, banks and local services will be closed Monday for the federal holiday.

Most people already know this, but today's President's Day holiday means that a number of places will be closed.

All city offices—including the , and —will be closed in observance of the federal holiday.

All public schools in the —along with , and —are closed.

Caltrain will be running on a modified Saturday schedule, with seven limited-stop trains in the morning and afternoon, throughout the day. Just like Caltrain, BART will be operating on a Saturday schedule.

SamTrans, on the other hand, is running on a regular weekday schedule.

There will also be no regular mail service today. However, garbage collection will remain on a regular schedule and street parking restrictions will remain the same.

So what's open today?

The city's 17 neighborhood parks are open, and is open as well.

The doors to The Shops at Tanforan will be open. But if you want to support local businesses, stroll down San Mateo Avenue and check out the variety of downtown shops there.
