Blessing of the Animals

Annual Blessing of the Animals and Pet Fair

On Saturday, September 21, Bethany Presbyterian Church will host the Blessing of the Animals, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  This event is open to all pets and animals, with their human companions.  Refreshments and activities for children will be provided.

The organization Copper's Dream, (http://www.coppersdream.org/)
a Bay Area all-breed dog rescue agency which saves dogs from shelters throughout California, will be present with dogs available for adoption.

Legendary Teri's Dog Training, (http://legendaryteri.com) pet care specialists who train and walk dogs, and provide overnight care while owners are away, will also be represented at the event.

Donations of unopened cans or bags of dog and cat food will be accepted for donation to the Peninsula Humane Society. (http://www.peninsulahumanesociety.org/)  Foods requested for use in the shelter are Natural Balance dog food rolls, and Fancy Feast or Friskies cat food.  Other unopened pet food will also be accepted, for distribution to families in need by PHS.
