Cooking for a Cause: SF Chef Holiday Showdown

On
December 4, San Francisco chefs will participate in a culinary showdown to
benefit 18 Reasons, a San Francisco
based nonprofit organization bringing healthy farm-to-table food to low income
communities in the Bay Area. Hosted at the new Kiehl’s
store in Stonestown Galleria, the culinary competition will feature healthy
holiday dishes from the chefs of Tacolicious and 18 Reasons. Attendees to the
event will vote on the winning chef, who will choose a must-have piece of
holiday kitchen equipment to donate to 18 Reasons.

For every event attendee who spends at least
$46 (the cost to connect a child to meals for one year) Kiehl’s will donate that amount to 18 Reasons and gift the customer with a Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk
& Honey Whipped Body Butter. Additionally, all guests will have access to
free facials/consultations, and the first 50 guests will receive a Kiehl’s gift
card.
