Nice-Sized Crestmoor Park 3 Home Featured in This Weekend's Open Houses

Check out these open houses and others on the market this weekend in San Bruno.

It seems like a recurring theme the past few months: buyers in the marketplace hungry for new listings. The market in San Bruno has been brisk lately, and buyers have snatched up most of the available (even languishing) inventory.

As of last week, there were only 21 total properties on the market in San Bruno, well down from what we had been seeing previously.

Once again, this week does not disappoint. There are several new listings on the market for buyers to look at. As the summer months approach and sellers are catching on to the shift in the market momentum, I expect to see even more inventory hit the market.

New on the market this week is this lovely Crestmoor Park 3 home located at 2330 Whitman Way. This three-bedroom and two-bathroom home boasts good size (about 1,500 square-feet) and sits on a lot that is newly landscaped with an automatic irrigation system and new back fence.

There is a family-style kitchen which feeds into a large deck, making entertaining and family gatherings a real pleasure. The large living room features a wood burning fireplace. The interior hardwood floors have been newly refinished, and new windows have been installed throughout.

This home is offered at $629,950 and is open Sunday from 1:30-4 p.m. For more information and detailed photos, check out San Bruno Views.

Also new on the market is the newly remodeled (1999) Huntington Park beauty at 100 Linden Avenue, and this townhouse located at 100 Livingston Terrace drive. Both are open Sunday from 2-4 p.m.

Question of the Week

This week's question come to us from Peter in San Bruno Park, who asks, "Joe, I would like to list my home. How many real estate agents should I interview?"

A: Great question Peter. Studies show that most sellers sign a listing agreement with the first agent they interview. That would be a lot like filling a job after inteviewing only one candidate. I always recommend that sellers interview at least three agents. Finding an agent with whom you can work well with, has the right market knowledge, and most of all, trust, is a key component to a successful home sale.
