Artichokes, tomatoes, and plenty of herbs!

Gardening in San Bruno is fun! I never knew how artichokes grew until I moved here! We have the best climate for artichokes! Tomatoes grow well here, too, just as long as you put up chicken wire to prevent garden pests from nibbling on them. I think they are rats but I'm not sure! Ew! Then there are the zucchini, squash, and pumpkins that will take up half of your yard but the veggies will be big and beautiful! Herbs of all kinds grow well here all year long as long as they continue to be watered. I would love to hear other people's success stories with growing vegetables in their San Bruno yards. Its good to be green, eat healthy, and even save a little money!
