Autumn in San Bruno Will Bring a Welcome Change of Pace
With the fall season coming up, it means us parents have the opportunity to get back to work in the community.
"Up and at em," every morning...rain drops, homework, after school programs and sports, library trips, school supply trips, St. Robert's Festival, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks! These are some of the words some of us parents in San Bruno associate with the fall season!
It's a welcome change of pace from the lazy days of summer where we wake up late and don't do a darn thing all day. We all should be well rested! PTA and PTO meetings start, giving us the opportunity to make a difference in our kids' schools. Fundraisers are planned throughout the community. Halloween costumes pop up in stores...by the way, I saw a Halloween Spirit Store getting ready to open on El Camino Real across the street from the Millbrae House of Pancakes. Cool!
The weather changes! The summer sun is gone, for the most part, but we still have an "Indian Summer" coming up.

This morning we were tempted to turn on the heater...not quite ready though! ...and how about that rainbow last night??
