I Love Being a San Bruno Mom

Now that we have the whole driving, drop-off to school scene under control, I can take a moment to soak up the sun in the morning with my "cup a joe", and love that I am a San Bruno mom. We get to Parkside a half an hour early, a request from my son, and the little one at Allen is pleasantly on time with just enough time to chitter chat with her friends.

Some of the things I love most about being a mom in San Bruno is the fact that there is a school for everybody no more than 5 minutes away, if you're driving. The PTAs and PTOs are small and manageable, and the library is in the center of town and has plenty of parking around it! These ameneties are not available in every city. In San Francisco, where I am originally from, schools can be quite a distance and the libraries hard to get to or find parking.

I also love the sports and after school activities available in San Bruno. Soccer season is here and there is a team for EVERY age. My daughter loves karate and there are plenty of karate studios to be found here. Not only sports but music, dance, art, and all kinds of fun things can be found at the San Bruno Rec Center.

I think most San Bruno moms will agree that we are spoiled with conveniences here and it's a great place to call "home".
