Nothing Beats an SF Giants Game

What do you do after a long day at the office? I'll tell you what I'm doing from now on.

When it's time to relax after a long day at the office or whatever you do, some people like to take a long hot bath, some people go to the gym, some people have a stiff drink. But I say nothing beats a tough day like going to a SF Giants game at AT&T Park!

Last night I got lucky! We have a good friend, who works for the Giants, offer us a good deal on some awesome seats in left field, 7 rows up from the dug out. The weather was a little chilly but it felt good to be there with my son and two other families from school.

Taking the train there and seeing everyone in their black and orange got me in the spirit! Arriving at the ballpark, smelling the hotdogs, garlic fries, and cotton candy had me forgetting all about the daily grind. During the game, the crowd cheered and participated in enthusiastic, fist pumping music, "kissing cams" and other fun videos that are displayed on the big screen. The whole environment was ringing with positive energy!

I was happy to know that you could bring in unopened water and soda, sandwhiches, chips and snacks of your own as it can be a little pricey in there these days!

Last night really got me in the Giant's spirit! I can't wait to go to another game, especially a warm, summer day game! ...and by the way, for Mother's Day, I now want a Giants hat...you know, the one with the mohawk.
