San Bruno Community Clubs: So Many To Choose From

San Bruno has so many ways to volunteer your time and make a difference. It's just so awesome!

I came to San Bruno 15 years ago with the intention of making a living doing real estate and raising a family but what I didn't realize, in my early 30's at the time, was that community clubs are the "funnest" things since hanging out at the beach in my teen years in the Sunset!

From my first San Bruno Chamber of Commerce Street Fair to my last Parkside Middle School Fireworks Booth experience, I just can't seem to get enough!

I've had to take some breaks to take care of my growing family but I have ALWAYS enjoyed volunteering for events at the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce, particpating in the Pancakes Breakfasts at the Rec Center, being a part of an event sponsored by either the San Bruno Lion's Club or Rotary Club, baseball and soccer, PTA's and PTO's...I can go on and on...

Every school in San Bruno has an active PTA and PTO that needs parents or anybody, for that matter, to participate in helping put events together!

There are a bunch of other clubs that I haven't had the pleasure of attending or participating in such as the San Bruno Mother's Club, St. Robert's and St. Andrews, boy scouts, girl scouts, the city committees and the Friends of the Library!

There is so much to do in San Bruno to make a difference in your OWN lives AND to those in your city! I never knew that until recently. I loved being a waitress in my 20's, I truly did. I never knew at that time that there were other ways of serving up a good meal that benefit MORE people than just the customer. It took awhile to realize that but now I know!
