Best of YouTube: Portola Hikes, T-Mobile Huddles Up and a Song From Fiji

A roundup of the best YouTube videos of the week, featuring videos just from and about San Bruno.

As most people know, you can get lost in exploring all the videos posted on YouTube.

But when I recently did a search on the site for San Bruno-related videos, I literally had to get lost until I found some interesting content.

When I did finally stumble upon the videos, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the wonderful stories people shared about the City with a Heart.

Without further ado, here's this week's roundup of YouTube's best, featuring all San Bruno videos.

1. Portola Play: Before Portola Elementary up to Sweeney Ridge earlier this month, the students treated the school to a play giving a history of the expedition that led to the discovery of the ridge and San Francisco Bay. Two thumbs up.

2. Island Boyz: Every week, a group of Fijians gather in San Bruno to catch up with one another and enjoy everyone's company. The gathering usually includes drinking kava, playing guitars and ukeleles, and singing traditional Fijian songs. This video, posted by user Luggie415, shows a group who call themselves the San Bruno Island Boyz (l-r: Jone Dauwe, Tiotee Ribabaiti and Mika Tuilau) singing an old Fijian song from the 1970s, "Cava noqu Cala (translation: What did I ever do wrong?)." Very melodic.

3. Huddle Up: This video shows the recent at Allen Elementary from start to finish. It makes you appreciate all the hard work that was put into beautifying the school.
