Downtown San Bruno: What's Next for Fixing Its Problems?
After my first blog post about my concerns about downtown, I didn't necessarily think anything would happen. Then the mayor called. Now I want to continue this conversation.
Well that was fantastic for the first time blogger!
It was wonderful hearing from all of you. It is obvious there are MANY people out there concerned about our community. Many have questions, suggestions and grievences as I do.
I am VERY happy The Chamber is also involved with our conversation and taking the time to answer some questions and listen to suggestions. Never doing this before, I have NO idea what's next.

I went to bed thinking just that: "What Next??"

I do not work on Tuesdays at the Salon. So I was Very surprised when the Salon called saying that The Mayor called!!! I thought it was a joke. It was not. The Mayor REALLY called!
So... Does The Mayor call everyone?? If he does, that's very cool. If he doesn't make that a practice and just called Me, that's really really cool!
In any event, I think, The Mayor calling us after our wonderful dialog on San Bruno Patch is pretty damn cool. It tells me that he is listening. He's not even in town for goodness sake!
For him to take the time to call, in my opinion, is great. It's a start. And I'm impressed. (I am a little embarrassed that I don't know The Mayor. Shouldn't I know him?)
So I am looking forward to meeting with him. Now... What else shall we discuss with our Mayor? Tell me. Its a START.
