4-H in San Bruno was so supportive of my , that I want to do a little promotion for some help they need with the farm. And all it will take is for you to eat spaghetti.
Not too hard, right? Especially if the meatballs are excellent.
When they describe their challenge, they put it like this:
"The San Bruno 4-H farm was built in 1969 (43 years ago!) and although it has been well maintained, the years have taken their toll and the farm now needs major work including a new roof and structural repairs. With the generous assistance of the San Bruno Lions Club, we hope to raise enough money so that the work can begin later in 2012. With their help, we are holding a fundraising on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Hennessey Hall at St. Roberts School, 345 Oak Avenue, San Bruno, CA. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $12.50 for each child 14 and under. Children under 8 are free. The event will start at 5:30pm, with dinner served at 6:30pm. Tickets can be ordered at firstname.lastname@example.org."
Can you come? They’d love to see you. If you’re not able to come, but would like to make a tax deductible donation of any size, please send it to the following address (payable to San Bruno 4-H Club): San Bruno 4-H Club, P.O. Box 1380, San Bruno, CA 94066.
Experience in 4-H gives youth the confidence they need to thrive and succeed throughout their lives. On behalf of the club’s current and future youth, thank you.
I'll be going—most definitely! I've got to head out early, cause I'm the teen leader for our club's leathercrafting project, which meets at 7 o'clock that same night. But I'll do take out. Hope to see you there!
