Update: Most LAX Terminals Reopen Following Shooting

All terminals at LAX have reopened except Terminal 3, the location of the mass shooting.
Updated at 2:20 p.m.LAX remains closed, with no flights in or out of the airport. 

ABC reports that the gunman is Paul Ciancia, a U.S. citizen, with addresses in the Los Angles and New Jersey areas. The gunman is in critical condition at a hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The names of his victims have not been released. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, one person was treated at LAX, while six patients were transported to hospitals, including the TSA agent who died.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was closed for several hours after a shooting inside one of the terminals Friday morning. It is expected to reopen one terminal at a time. The shooting took place around 9:20 a.m.

According to federal agents, a TSA agent was shot and killed, at least six other people were wounded, and the suspect is in custody. 

During the shooting, terrified passengers dashed screaming from the terminal, some running onto the tarmac.

Flights at Bay Area airports have been impacted by the LAX closure. Many flights have been canceled, while others were delayed or rerouted.
