Chuck E. Cheese in San Bruno Robbed at Gunpoint

The robbery took place in the mid-afternoon. Police are continuing to follow up on leads.

A man wearing a Harley-Davidson jacket and blue jeans and carrying a black semi-automatic pistol robbed the Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in San Bruno Monday afternoon. 

The man entered the restaurant located at 1270 El Camino Real in the Towne Center shopping center at 3:35 p.m., brandished the weapon and demanded money from an employee.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee the man left the restaurant through the front door according to a release sent by the San Bruno Police Department.

According to Lt. Tim Mahon of the San Bruno Police Department the man fled the scene in a silver Toyota Prius or a similar looking silver vehicle. 

Witnesses were able to give police a partial license plate number of 6VWX.

“Our detectives are following up leads on the car right now,” said Mahon.
