Construction to Close San Mateo Avenue

The thoroughfare will be closed to traffic starting at 8 p.m. Friday.

Motorists should expect delays or detours this weekend while construction work continues on the Caltrain grade separation project in San Bruno.

Starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and continuing until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 San Mateo Avenue will be closed. During the closures, Caltrain will put out detour signs for pedestrians and motorists to help with traffic flow.

Night work will be done in accordance with Caltrain and city agreements and ordinances.
