Man Kills Pit Bull With Pocketknife During Attack

The attack happened at the beginning of the weekend.

A man and his dog were attacked by a pit bull while walking in the 2600 block of Fleetwood Drive last Friday, March 22.  The attack happened around 10:15 that morning.

According to the San Bruno Police log, the man suffered an injury to his hand but the severity of the wound is unknown.   The man was able to kill the attacking pit bull using a folding knife.

The man’s dog suffered a bite mark on its neck.

The dead dog belonged to residents who live in the 2600 block of Fleetwood Drive.
