Man Sentenced for Pimping in San Bruno

The man was arrested in San Bruno last year.

A 50-year-old San Francisco resident was sentenced on Monday to four years in prison for acting as a pimp for a 17-year-old girl in a San Bruno condominium.

In November, David Blackwell pleaded no contest to two felony counts, one for felony pandering and one for felony assault by force likely to produce great bodily injury.

Blackwell was released on $500,000 bail so he could put some personal affairs in order before he began serving a four-year sentence that was negotiated between his lawyer and the San Mateo District Attorney.
