Police have no real leads in the case of a vandalized vehicle in San Bruno, an act the victim says was perpetrated by disgruntled neighbors.
The woman -- she asked only to be identified as Angelica -- told Patch she believes that someone whom she has accused in the past of doing drugs in her neighborhood used a brick from her own front yard and smashed the windshield.
The crime occurred on San Anselmo Avenue, in South San Bruno, sometime between Jan. 19 and 20, according to the resident.
San Bruno police Lt. Geoff Caldwell told Patch that officers investigated the case but could not gather enough evidence to arrest anyone.
Meanwhile, Angelica said she feels as though she has been targeted and plans to move away but wanted to warn prospective new residents about criminal elements on her block.
