San Bruno police arrested a man who reportedly attempted to pick up a pair of young girls last week, police said.
Officers responded to a report that a man attempted to get a 12-year-old girl and her friend to enter his white Mercedes four-door sedan at Third and San Bruno avenues at 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 26, according to police.
The reporting officers surveyed the area and stopped a Mercedes that fit the description the girls provided at about 7:30 a.m., police said.
Juan Manuel Mendoza-Bermudez, 34, of San Lorenzo, the driver of the Mercedes, was subsequently arrested for an outstanding warrant and on suspicion of child annoyance, according to police.
