Police Log: Possible Mountain Lion Spotted Near Church

Monday
3:23 p.m. Police received a report of identity theft in which someone charged a resident’s credit card to open two PayPal accounts.
5:13 p.m. A drunk driver was spotted near El Camino Real and San Luis Avenue.

5:36 p.m. A gray Lexus RX330 was burglarized on the 900 block of Hensley Avenue, and two iPods and shoes were stolen.
There were no significant incidents reported to police on Tuesday.

Wednesday
Sometime before 12:26 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle on fire near Rollingwood Drive and Sneath Lane off the freeway.
12:26 a.m. An officer was assaulted on the 2000 block of Crystal Springs Road.
7:48 a.m. A 1997 green Mazda was stolen on the 2000 block of Crystal Springs Road.
8:53 a.m. Someone reportedly saw mountain lion walking toward the near Shelter Creek Lane and Whitman Way.
9:22 a.m. A Nissan Sentra was burglarized on the 1700 block of Monterey Drive, and sunglasses, CDs and a work identification badge were stolen.
9:35 a.m. Police received a report that a resident’s video camera was stolen on the 1100 block of Grundy Lane.
2:42 p.m. An injury-involved accident was reported near San Mateo Avenue and Walnut Street.
