Police Log: Resident Gets Identity Stolen; $1,800 in Fraudulent Charges

Monday

7:42 a.m. Graffiti was spotted on the side of a building on the 400 block of Mastick Avenue.

3:02 p.m. Three pieces of luggage were stolen from a black Nissan Versa near Hermosa Street and San Mateo Avenue.

5:44 p.m. A house fire occurred on the 900 block of Glenview Drive.

7:30 p.m. A blue 1996 Honda Civic was stolen on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.

Tuesday

2:08 p.m. A home was burglarized on the 2200 block of Kingston Avenue.

Wednesday

12:31 p.m. Police responded to a home burglary on the 300 block of Courtland Drive.

2:39 p.m. Police received a report about an identity theft in which someone used a resident's Sears account to make $1,800 in purchases.

4:23 p.m. A black Lincoln Towncar was stolen overnight on the 500 block of Poplar Avenue.

9:02 p.m. Someone stole a resident's purse on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
