Police Log: Neighbor Makes Death Threat After Tree Trim

The following information was supplied by the San Bruno Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday

8:32 a.m. A big rig drove into a fire hydrant near the corner of Georgia Avenue and Huntington Avenue.

10:33 a.m. Police received a call about graffiti being found at the Lions Field baseball park.

10:36 a.m. Police found marijuana in a student's backpack at .

Friday

2:55 p.m. A resident arrived at the police station to report that someone fraudulently used the person's MasterCard in Canada.

4:39 p.m. A Caltrans worker reported to police that the driver of a U-Haul truck had illegally closed down a lane near the corner of Skyline Boulevard and Sneath Lane.

8:21 p.m. Police received a call from a man on the 800 block of Reid Avenue claiming that his neighbor threatened to kill him because he trimmed a tree that had grown over his fence.

Saturday

12:22 a.m. Police received a call about a group of 20 youths who were yelling and jumping in front of vehicles passing through .

2:34 p.m. Someone reported that all the street lights at the corner of Huntington Avenue and San Bruno Avenue were flashing red.

5:03 p.m. A man came into a resident's backyard with his dog on the 200 block of San Luis Avenue and threatened to kill him over a dog fight.

Sunday

1:42 a.m. Police were asked to be on the lookout for three males in dark clothing who had been breaking the windows of vehicles but not taking anything. No location was given.

 9:29 p.m. A resident called police after his neighbor on the 600 block of Cedar Avenue reportedly threatened to beat him up if he didn't move his car away from the front of the neighbor's home.
