Police Log: Resident's Identity Stolen; Gets Charged $2,400

Monday

7:12 a.m. A black Chevy Tahoe was broken into on the 700 block of Third Avenue.

3:22 p.m. Someone fraudulently used a resident's Home Depot account number to make a purchase worth about $2,400.

3:36 p.m. A gray Dodge Caravan was broken into on the 1100 block of El Camino Real, and a cell phone and speakers were found missing.

3:59 p.m. A home was broken into on the 700 block of Pepper Drive, and jewelry was reportedly stolen.

4:07 p.m. A red Mazda Miata was broken into on the 600 block of Huntington Avenue.

11:39 p.m. A drunk driver was spotted on the 1700 block of El Camino Real.

Tuesday

12:01 a.m. A drunk driver was spotted on the 1300 block of El Camino Real.

9:56 a.m. A black Subaru was broken into on the 100 block of San Luis Avenue.

No significant incidents were reported on Wednesday.
