Police Log: Suspect Steals Resident's Identity, Opens 15 Credit Cards

Monday

10:57 a.m. An unknown amount of cash was stolen from a store on the 400 block of San Mateo Avenue.

12:33 p.m. Police received a report about a drunk driver in a green Honda Civic who was seen going 50 mph to 85 mph in and out of lanes on Interstate Highway 380 and had exited onto El Camino Real.

3:20 p.m. Police received a call that a home had been ransacked on the 100 block of Siskiyou Court.

3:26 p.m. Police received a report of identity theft in which a resident's name, address and Social Security number had been used to fraudulently open 15 credit card accounts.

Tuesday

7:50 a.m. A black Nissan Altima was ransacked on the 200 block of San Anselmo Avenue South.

10:26 a.m. A drunk driver was spotted on the 600 block of Green Avenue.

Wednesday

Sometime before 11:34 a.m., police received a report about a commercial burglary on the 300 block of El Camino Real.
